Apparently nobody has an issue with CODE, i'm a bit surprised to be honest but whatever. If EVE players consider this acceptable i'm not really going to try to push the issue just avoid CODE. I thought people were just blind/oblivious to what's going on but apparently everyone is cool with it. Took me a while to figure out myself so i was actually convinced nobody understands what's going on that's why i took on trying to explain to everyone.

I wasn't particularly angry about the ganking of my JF back in september initially but only got quite angry later after 8-10 of their "agents" contacted me with follow-up humiliation mails, including multiple "umadbro", "should've bought a permit" "you are on the red pen list" etc. Then after they got me "ready" and "warmed up" i got multiple requests to join on voice comms and discuss the issue of purchasing the permit in person. Naturally at that point i got suspicous as it was clear that they want to record my outrage on voice comms, so I made my (at the time angry) conclusions about what they are.

So yes their mission was accomplished, they made me angry as it is clear from my mental state at the time of writing that bio (which i got a warning from a GM for btw, rightfully so).

Also at the time i didn't entirely realize just how exactly sick and twisted they so eventually shrugged off the gank as my own mistake and overreaction.

However i also had a previous experience with them where my mining permit was revoked for "being AFK in station" with follow up attempts to resell me the permit as well as offerd to remove me from the "red pen list" for 30m, so that they could resell me the permits again after I got scammed and given a pretty much infuriating reason why. So in my head the evidence was accumulating.

After they ganked my empty freighter i was getting really suspicious almost 100% confident what was going on and after an extended convo in local with "Formerly Known As AC" i had 100% confidence that they are sociopaths acting out in-game. AC also offered me multiple times to get on voice comms and continued offering me mining permits.

So as i said i had multiple incidents with them and that's the only reason why i started being suspicious that they are not after ganking per se but purely after player humiliation. Their roleplay is designed for player humiliation, nothing else. Goons are by far more acceptable (and i believe do stay within the reasonable sandbox) even with their ISBox etc. Their goal is not to humiliate players, it's just economic warfare. Not a fan of goons but I believe it. *This* human garbage on the other hand is something else completely.

But yeah.. i AM quite surprised at this point that other players don't clearly see it and find their behavior acceptable.

I'm just going to move on I guess at this point since the crusade is clearly pointless and "EVE loves them".

Notice how they basically brag in CCP's face that they accepted "donations" from Erotica1.

They are blatantly spitting at CCP's face at this point with thinly disguised connection to Erotica1, abundant evidence of humiliation-targeted roleplay and are successful at it. Congrats CODE. Now that you win this game maybe it's time to move on to be successful criminals, isn't that where the real challenge is for you as anti-socials?

His bio still contains the full name "Formerly Known as" "Anl Cnl". Clearly this player find this funny/amusing and has no regrets or recognition of his actions. This is standard sociopath MO, obviously if you lack a "moral compass" you'll never see how or why you are wrong in first place.

The sickest part about this all is that they actually employ other people who are not sociopaths to do work for them under pretense of sandbox roleplay.

There are poorer goons with more stuff than you, darling. Even full-time gankers have more stuff than you.

Many EVE Online players do not have an issue with CODE, because we have been in EVE long enough to comprehend that CODE is doing, in part, what a game like EVE online as designed for. Creating oneGÇÖs own content within the scope of the game parameters.

Dream Five may recall that I warned her in another thread of the perils of becoming too emotionally attached. The OP claims that she understood her overreactions prior to this latest thread, yet I see no proof in her posts that she has learned much at all.

I have seen no proof of the allegations what so ever. Usually there is a digital trail of scams, etc. Yet the posts have offered no logs, conversation snippets, anything; to back your claim that you were ever a permit holder, let alone that one was revoked.

Dream Five postings are still insinuating and/or accusing members of CODE and those who support what CODE is doing of various psychological disorders. The posting seems to be littered with emotionally charged conclusions as well.
There is nothing that CODE does that deviates from the norm of EVE online culture, and there is certainly no criminality involved. In fact, it is a sense of ethics that drives CODE to do what they do.

More so, CODE shows a certain amount of empathy for those miners/freighters who are not engaged in Bot-aspirant activities. CODE tends to free systems for people who actually enjoy the activities of mining and hauling from the true anti-social behavior of running 15 miner accounts simultaneously and stripping everything from high-sec systems, with absolutely no human interaction.

Reading the posts of Dream Five however, I see a lot of what can be called a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations. In some of the posts there appears to be an inability to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others. For example, Dream Five seems to care nothing for a miner when he/she logs into EVE to mine for an hour only to find the entire system has been stripped by two people, who interact with no one, running 12 accounts each.

The responses of Dream Five seem to be excessively attuned to reactions of others, but only if the player perceived them as relevant to herself. Antagonism, characterized by grandiosity seems to be a common theme in her posting in fact. Example: calling CODE members and those who support them in any way GÇ£insaneGÇ¥, a legal definition and not a clinical one I might add.

In the most recent posts she seems to have developed a pervasive pattern of cognitive or perceptual distortions and eccentricities of behavior in the form of a slew of baseless allegations against other players and companies; that may be considered by outside observers as suspiciousness, or paranoid ideation.

From what I have seen of Dream FiveGÇÖs forums behavior, and by her own posting I would say NPD with a dash of SPD and projecting it on CODE in a destructive way that is not conducive to the cultural norms of EVE Online.

I think that if there was any substance to this claim of "afk in station" permit revocation...

That's funny. Tbh I have to concede some of the posts on minerbumping made me laugh. Some of it is on the sickening end of laughter but maybe if you kept your stuff a bit more lighthearted you wouldn't be suspect of deliberately enraging the players.

I'm beginning to think I could be wrong about the whole thing tbh and you are really just pranksters without evil intentions but simply a sickly sense of humor. In that case you should be more aware of how it affects players.

Furthermore I'm not contributing anything positive to the game with this 'campaign' so I guess it was lost before I even started.

This isn't a New Order thread. This is a tears thread started by Dream Five. He was shunted here from General Discussion.

CCP should really just give the New Order the respect it deserves and create a subforum for us. It would make it much easier for those interested in finding New Order related content on the forums; they wouldn't have to dig through the various subforums to find their favorite content! Make it happen, CCP!
